Blackburn, Melbourne Artificial Grass Front YardWritten on the 12 March 2015 Our recent front yard make over in Blackburn in Melbourne's east is a fantastic example of how synthetic grass is able to bring a dull damp environment back to life. In this front yard we also built a new brick edge on 3 sides of the yard and a lovely new path. The pictures of this job show a great example of the 3 main steps involved in our installation process: Dig outWe dig out a desired amount of dirt and soil, and then remove all waste in preperation for the artificial grass installation.
Base workWe then bring in a crushed rock and crushed dust base. Once all the rock is in we then level and compact with a wacker plate. In this case we also had to notch out the pavers and also make sure the edges have a nice consistency in order to lay our artificial grass neatly.
InstallationOur artificial grass is then installed. It takes a lot of skill and experience to trim around pavers and edges. As you can see it looks exceptional when cut in around the pavers.
